Rebekah, promise you will never stop a young mother in the grocery store and tell her that "kids grow up fast." To be honest, sweet lady in the grocery store, those times are still going on.
Call your grandchildren, go visit them. Hold them, love them, listen to them, find out their favorite color, their favorite food, their favorite cartoon, their favorite shape to draw. Grandchildren grow up fast, too. Your grandchildren are right there, waiting for you to jump in. Do it, jump!
Kids grow up fast. :)

YES! AMEN and AMEN. <3
I commented already and it wouldn't save...cried and everything trying to say...
now that it saved, I'll try again...I've enjoyed all your blog, and thanks for the call today -- making my day..:)! I know what your older lady meant, though. Today, your boys will let you kiss all the hurts away! They believe you have that magic, and they let you smooch and love on them most of the time. There's no wonder we grandma's are sooo silly about grands...I can hug, kiss, hold hands, squeeze, and laugh with them...they listen...they know even when I don't like everything that they do..that it's ok...we still are so in love and the best of friends! I think I had to get here to understand that little old lady and my own mother...and mother in-law...who loved their grands. I'm Mimi, and my girls love me, and I know it! They are Mimi's girls, and I love them, and they know it! Sooo amazing this life of learning...Thanks for the call and the blog...You are so good to me...and I love you and you know it! and you love me and I know it!!! Big smile :D xoxoxoxoxoxoxo!
Aunt Teddi,
You are adorable, this from a lady who sees her grandchildren almost everyday.
I. Love. You.
Beka
Just got back from 7 days with son, daughter inlaw, and 2 granddaughters. I had a great time. Sat in the background with correction, unless looked like not following parents' direction meant that her safety was at stake...this is for the 2 yr old that I adore and keep everyday...she did not want me to say anything to her...though when I kept her all day on Friday, she was a doll as she is for me everyday..even today now that we're back..funny about little grands with parents around...now, for my Ivey time...the best of the best..she'll soon be 8 and I dearly miss seeing her like I did when she was little...we share the same room...bed...swing..playing in the ocean...If I said Ivey, do you want Mimi to...no matter what the answer was yes! When we said our goodbyes..a big hug...we will truly miss each other...I that lasts forever!!! That's the times you dear Beka remember with yourself and Baba! There's always room on grandmama's lap...as she got in my lap and stayed for as long as we had time...every morning...sigh....
Your kids are adorable girl tell 'em I said hello!!!!!!
